The Philippine Trade & Investment Center Investment Forum in Kuala Lumpur
The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines (MCCI) in partnership with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC), jointly organised the Philippine Investment Forum 2018 under the banner Partner Philippines: “Building Value Together”.

The objective of this event is to promote Philippines as an investment destination for Malaysian businesses. 

It featured several guest speakers tackled various investment promotions and business opportunities ion the Philippines, especially in the infrastructure segment in relation to the Build! Build! Build! campaign started by President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte. A Mindanao-focused session by Mindanao-based investment promotion agencies was also featured, among others.

PTIC’s major event partner, MCCI, is the first ASEAN member nation to create a business chamber in Philippines.

It was established on February 2017 but officially launched on September 2017 by the former Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mustapa Mohamed.

Its vision is to complement the role of nation-building by strengthening the bilateral relationship between Malaysia and Philippines, which has spanned more than 59 years. There will be missions to support and promote trade, investment and commercial relationships between the two countries.
